Senior Asset Manager
Mr. Finney joined the Gladstone Companies in January 2018 as a Senior Asset Manager. Mr. Finney has over 20 years of experience in finance and real estate. His background includes work in bond issuance for Fortune 500 companies and working as an Asset Manager for publicly traded REITS. He has experience in the management and oversight of large real estate portfolios comprised of several asset classes including industrial, office, retail and flex products. Mr. Finney has a BA in Economics from Washington College and a MS in Finance from the University of Maryland. He passed the CPA exam and is a licensed real estate sales person in the state of Maryland.
Senior Asset Manager
Karen Priesman joined Gladstone Commercial in 2018 as a Senior Asset Manager for the Midwest and Northeast regions. Prior to joining Gladstone, Karen co-created and led K2M LLC, a Commercial Real Estate Asset Management, Consulting and Investment Company. Her duties included asset management of both internal and third-party client properties as well as creation of investment pools with placement into both debt and equity investments. Consulting assignments included underwriting and management of large portfolios of commercial mortgages including foreclosures and dispositions. Ms. Priesman has managed large portfolios of office buildings, industrial properties, and commercial mortgages for institutional investors such as Prudential, and Carr. She has developed office and industrial properties and led sales of a large national portfolio of institutional quality assets. Active nationally and locally in the real estate industry, Ms. Priesman has been a National Trustee for the CREW Foundation as well as a member of its Grant Making Council. She has served on several local CREW boards as well as the Awards committee for CREW Network. Ms. Priesman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with Great Distinction from California State University Long Beach where she was selected by the faculty as the outstanding graduate from the school of engineering. She later earned an MBA from the Wharton School in Real Estate and Finance.
Mr. Yayac joined Gladstone in August 2018. Before joining Gladstone, Mr. Yayac worked as an investment analyst at the University of Michigan Investment Office, where he helped perform due diligence and analysis on investment opportunities. Prior to that he worked at The Vanguard Group. Mr. Yayac has an MBA from the University of North Carolina, where he graduated with a concentration in real estate, a BA from the University of Delaware.
Ms. Black joined Gladstone in October 2019 as a Property Analyst. Prior to joining Gladstone, she was a Lease Analyst in the Revenue Recognition Department for Carr Properties, a privately held real estate investment trust in Washington, DC from 2017-2019. Ms. Black holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate Development from the George Mason University.
